Jessi was born and raised in Iowa where she graduated from Cosmetology school in 2001. After more than 20 years of cutting hair, she still thinks it is one of the most enjoyable jobs in the world. She created Formation Hair to serve the industry she loves and to advance the people that love it as much as she. She excels at traditional barbering, razor cutting and exhibits extraordinary attention to detail. She is an inquisitive, curious person who loves meaningful conversations and learning new things. She is the mother of two beautiful children who are her greatest teachers.

Keren was born in Texas, raised mostly in Tennessee, and definitely has that Southern charm. She has an infectious, adventurous spirit that puts people at ease. She was always drawn to people who cut hair, and in 2012 couldn’t resist her calling any longer. After working for a few years in Tennessee, she decided to spread her wings and make her nest in Oregon in 2016. She excels at short cuts and fades, and is also highly skilled in specialty cuts like shags and mullets. She is a true artist that loves to create and gets her ultimate reward from the relationships that she builds and the connections that she makes.
