Jessi is an experienced hairdresser and a visionary entrepreneur. After more than 20 years behind the chair, she founded Formation Hair in 2022 to be a voice for change and a symbol of hope. Jessi is a fierce advocate for equality and creating change. She believes in the power of community and Formation Hair ‘s mission to change the world. She excels at short and long hair with a background in traditional barbering. She loves razor cutting, natural texture and exhibits extraordinary attention to detail. Her passions include spiritual growth, neurodiversity affirming education and dismantling systems of oppression. Also, cats.

Keren is such a talented hairstylist and an incredible person. She’s funny, kind and has a calm confidence that puts people at ease. She is a naturally talented creator and her technical skill is an inspiration. Keren can deliver anything from bald fades to bobs and her razor shags are the best in the business. She is incredibly consistent, efficient and artistic. Keren loves spending time with her fur babies above all else. She enjoys sketching, crafting and being with friends. Keren is passionate about community, supporting underserved people and destroying the patriarchy.

Getting your haircut with Ashley is like grabbing coffee with a friend. She is so much fun and brings an awesome energy into our space. Her approach to hair reflects her adventurous spirit and unique creativity. Ashley is highly skilled with both short and long hair and loves collaborating with her clients. She enjoys doing highly textured cuts like wolf cuts and mod mullets. Her hobbies include reading, writing, calligraphy, and spending time with her cat Jinkx. She loves horror movies, drag, travelling, language learning and concerts. Ashlley is passionate about LGBTQ+ rights and general equality for all.

Amber has been the most joyous addition to our Formation team. She brings an incredibly infectious energy to our space and her love for people really shines through. Amber always goes above and beyond for every client that sits in her chair. She has a playful approach to hair and loves to try new styles. Amber excels at short and long hair, razor cutting and loves creating textured styles. She enjoys sharing good stories and always has something interesting to add to any conversation. You can find her watching movies, playing video games and crafting. Amber is a ball of sunshine here to spread kindness and to help people be more authentically themselves.

Christian is our short hair specialist and is such a pro. He has a wonderful laid-back energy that really puts people at ease. He takes great pride in his work and delivers an incredible experience from start to finish. Christian excels at clipper, shear and razor work with an emphasis on education and ease of styling. He believes in the restorative nature of this work and how a haircut can be an act of self-care. Christian is a big horror fan and loves spooky season. He enjoys movies, gaming, exercise, art, and books. Christian loves making connections with people, highlighting the best in everyone, and the possibility of making someone’s day.

Jenn cares deeply about the art of hairdressing and loves educating her guests and finding solutions together. She creates a welcoming space for people to feel comfortable sharing their preferences and goals. Jennifer is passionate about both physical and mental health, inclusivity and community building. She enjoys being active and exploring Oregon with her family, spending cozy time at home and making the world a little brighter.
